Tennessee Man Suspected of Selling Fake Gold Bars in Crossville and Georgia

Authorities are looking for a Tennessee man who is suspected of selling fake gold bars to a local pawn shop and other pawn shops in Georgia. He has been identified as 43-year-old Robert Brent Robertson of McDonald, Tennessee. According to reports, Robertson has cheated at least one pawn shop in Crossville out of $1,500. He is also being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office in Barton County, Georgia where they say he has committed the same offense at multiple locations. Crossville Police have signed warrants on Robertson for Criminal Simulation and Theft. He had not been located at the time of the report.
