Body of Missing Missouri College Student Riley Strain Recovered Friday From Cumberland River

Metro Nashville Police have confirmed that the body of missing Missouri college student Riley Strain was recovered Friday morning (3/22/24) from the Cumberland River in West Nashville, about 8 miles from downtown. No foul play is suspected. An autopsy is pending.

The 22-year-old was visiting Music City with his fraternity brothers on March 8 when he was escorted out of Luke’s 32 Bridge. Strain had reportedly told his friends he was going back to their hotel but he was later seen on surveillance video walking in the opposite direction.
